These are the rules for Lunari Addunt. We do allow our members to do just about whatever they wish, but we do hold some rules here that must NOT be broken. Lunari is set to the year 2869, so do not forget that. They are detailed below:
I. Member Names
II. Accounts
When joining, make sure your CHARACTER NAME and ACCOUNT NAME match. Please use FIRST and LAST only.
II. Accounts
Members are allowed ONE account to start. When their character has been accepted both OOC and IC, then that member may ask permission from an Admin if they can make another one. Be aware, Administrative staff can either ACCEPT or DENY your request.
III. Role Playing
We use THIRD person here. That means no use of "I", "me", "we", "us", unless you are speaking to another character. Words that are acceptable would be he or she.
IV. Chatbox
Chatbox is a place for members to speak with one another about threads and plots. There is ABSOLUTELY no advertising allowed. If we find advertising occurring inside the chatbox, punishments will be given out. That also goes for spamming, or discussing other sites inside of out chat. Some IC is allowed, but if it gets too out of hand, it shall be banished.
V. Activity
We do not require a whole lot from our members. Every month there will be an ACTIVITY CHECK. If your character does not post on these (unless you have posted an Absence Post or notified an Admin), your account will be deleted. That being said, if you go on extensive time away from the site, click HERE to find the Absence Thread and notify our members of your leaving. Border threads are very important and should hopefully be completed within a matter of days.
Average Members: 1 post in a WEEK
Admin/Position Holders: 4 posts in 2 WEEKS
VI. Posting Order
With multiple people joining a thread, there needs to be a set posting order. If you post out of order, it can be very confusing to the other players. So please be mindful and ask your fellow role players if you may skip the order.
VII. God Modding/Ghosting
God modding and power playing are PROHIBITED! Powers/abilities are approved on the site, which will be later discussed under the species we have on Lunari. There will be ZERO tolerance for ghosting, unless allowed by the owner of the character. Ghosting means taking control of another person's character. If you are in a plot with Characters A, B, and C. Characters A and B post, but you cannot move without C, then you will have to wait for them, or just role play amongst yourselves until they return. If you have read until now, post 'for us they come' in your application.
VIII. Literacy
We do not have a word count limit, but we have a sentence limit. The MINIMUM requirement is 12 sentences, but keep in mind, we do strive for excellence. If at any time an Admin feels your post is not long enough, they can have you lengthen it, or it may be subject to deletion. If you are having trouble finding inspiration, talk about the character's thoughts, feelings, or wants.
IX. Maturity
This site is rated with ProBoards standards, so please keep cussing to a minimum. Sex or mating is not allowed. If you find yourself in a mature situation, place "fade to black" or something along those lines. For example: Alex kissed her cheek as they fade to black.
X. Promotions
There will be many opportunities to promote within the site, whether IC or OOC. When making your profile, please do NOT ask for a high rank, unless it has been cleared by the Administrative Staff. Check each race's policies for promotion or speak with their leader. For OOC promotions, feel free and ask either Lunari Admin, Dominus Demetri, or Alpha Lucian.
XI. NPC Accounts
If you would like to role play with one of our NPC's please message an Administrator. This means either you or a friend may be able to play them yourself. But in most cases, an Admin will likely play the NPC. This is to keep it fair among the site members, but special situations may be different.
XII. Applications
Make sure when you are making a character, that it uses the CORRECT coding. There is one for joining and one for being accepted. They are not the same. If you are found with an incorrect form, you will not be accepted until it is fixed.
XIII. Character Creation
This is a Fantasy site, but we still have rules to be followed. Click Allowed Species to see all specifications. You may use Real or Anime pictures for characters. We are also looking for certain species, so please check the log before making one.
Acceptable Eye Colors: Blue, Green, Yellow, Brown, Silver, and mixed. RED is NOT Allowed.
